On Monday, November 28, 2022, the President of the University of Zakho, Dr. Nadhim S. Abdulaziz, and the vice presidents of the university formally received Dr. Antonio Morono, Lecturer at the University of Pavia in Italy, and Dr. Rund Hammoudi, Director of the International Relations at the University of Duhok.

The aim of the visit is to conduct a joint project on “Future of Basic Education Teachers” between the University of Pavia, Zakho, Duhok, Raparin, Halabja and Salahaddin.

Throughout the project, numerous courses will be opened for teachers inside and outside of Kurdistan. In other words, they will be granted visits to universities abroad in order to obtain a valuable experience from them. Noteworthy, the project starts from 2022 to 2027 in universities of Italy, Spain and Portugal.
